PNG police enter Australia’s Manus Island asylum camp

Police in Papua Recent Guinea own entered a decommissioned jail camp on Manus Island, looking out to evict refugees who’re refusing to leave.

About 50 of the camp’s inhabitants left in buses, but about 330 others acknowledged they had been too unnerved to sail out of doors the broken-down Australian-flee facility, fearing attacks by native folk.

Police and immigration officers entered the camp on Thursday morning to persuade the boys to leave for alterative accommodation in the nearby city of Lorengau.

Australia will pay Papua Recent Guinea and the petite Pacific nation of Nauru to retain hundreds of asylum seekers from Africa, the Middle East and Asia who own tried to put Australian shores by boat since mid-2013.
