Malaysia: Anwar Ibrahim to be freed on Tuesday, daughter says

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim is determined to be released from custody on Tuesday, and granted a full royal pardon, native media reported. 

Channel NewsAsia cited Nurul Izzah, Ibrahim’s daughter, as asserting on Saturday that the forms for her father’s launch used to be under methodology. 

The newly elected Malaysian High Minister Mahathir Mohamad said at a press conference on Friday that the King of Malaysia has indicted to pardon Anwar but didn’t give a date for his launch.

In 2015, Anwar used to be jailed for 5 years for sodomising a passe aide, a charge he described as a politically motivated attempt by the former High Minister Najib Razak to live his career.
