Two British medics dramatically rescued from jungle kidnappers in the Congo were making ready to fly home last night.

Robert Jesty and Bethan Davies were launched unhurt after their convoy used to be ambushed by militia in the Virunga National Park gorilla sanctuary.

The pair, who work at London’s prestigious Kings College Successfully being facility, were saved by United Countries peacekeepers and native authorities at the distant reserve.

Dr Jesty, 28, and Dr Davies (age unknown) are each and each intensive care junior scientific fellows at Kings College Successfully being facility.
