A TV star who was caught in mattress with a girl and 20 wraps of heroin below the cowl has been jailed for 18 months.

Marvin Baird, 38, star of The Contrivance, was in mattress with a girl when officers smashed open the front door of his flat and stumbled on the Class A drug below a cowl.

Baird and the unnamed female have been both handcuffed at the scene in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, town’s sheriff court docket heard.
