West Ham sack head of recruitment Tony Henry
West Ham have sacked head of recruitment Tony Henry following allegations he sent messages to an agent pronouncing the membership did no longer have to label African gamers.
The Day-to-day Mail claimed to have considered emails from Henry talking disparagingly about gamers from Africa, recalling difficulties the membership had with Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho.
It used to be reported that Henry had acknowledged African gamers « put of dwelling off mayhem » when no longer chosen within the crew.
West Ham suspended Tony on Thursday morning after the memoir broke the old night and, following an investigation, they’ve determined to segment firm with the 60-365 days-extinct.

Requested whether he had ever encountered difficulties with African gamers, Moyes told a news convention: » No, never. Joseph Yobo used to be my first signing at Everton, I judge. I went to Joseph’s testimonial in Nigeria.
« I signed Steven Pienaar three cases. I kind no longer judge there may be any membership within the nation that has extra African gamers than West Ham. »
The Football Association (FA) confirmed on Thursday that it used to be also conducting an investigation into the controversy.
