Dana Carvey had ‘many warm moments’ with George and Barbara Bush

The actor from Master of Disguise and Netflix’s Sandy Wexler recalled how he and his wife had been welcomed to the White Home after the Bushes lost the election of 1992. “We truly frolicked with them. We truly got to grab them,” he acknowledged, “and so that they didn’t truly know who we had been, but Barbara was so humorous. I’ve by no arrangement truly considered a marriage that was that easy. They had been so worthy fun together.”

Bush Sr., too, appeared as if it would maintain “fancied himself an impressionist.” The actor authorized, “He started doing a miniature James Cagney.”

Carvey added this wasn’t a time consumed by “scorched earth, wrathful politics.”
