Armed forces snort shatters the peace in sleepy London suburb

A secret police coaching snort sparked fright among sleeping residents of a leafy London suburb tonight. 

Loud bangs and low flying helicopters had been heard near Mortlake Brewery in Mortlake, south west London, leaving residents shaken from the loud explosions. 

Offended residents fast took to social media to fraction the nights’ events, with one describing the peace-shattering sounds as ‘care for gunshots’, and pleaded with police to shed some gentle on what was once occurring.

Jack Kisby-Carroll wrote: ‘Very loud explosions around Four-6 of them. Helicopters flying in each place Mortlake Brewery. No warning of this. All after 11pm.’ 

Topaz Amoore wrote: ‘Armed forces coaching in a residential house at 11pm? It be madness. Every person very shaken by the loud explosion and the low flying helicopter.’

Damien wrote: ‘There’s a ridiculous amount of noise and helicopters flying out of the Mortlake brewery space. It be after 11pm at night and households are making an try to sleep.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed that officers had been carrying out a coaching snort. 

‘The cacophony had being occurring since late afternoon….what the hell is occurring….please investigate.’
