Final August, EW confirmed that actress Anya Taylor-Pleasure used to be in negotiations to reteam with The Witch director Robert Eggers on a remake of Nosferatu. No longer basic has been heard regarding the venture since, and Eggers is at sigh at work on a thriller called The Lighthouse. However Taylor-Pleasure tells EW that she very basic hopes to work again with the director on this new model of filmmaker F.W. Murnau’s classic vampire story.
“Merely now, Robert is making the Lighthouse, which I is no longer any longer going to be extra contented with and extra mad for, and I’m going to streak and focus on with the device,” says Taylor-Pleasure, whose other credits consist of final year’s M. Evening Shyamalan-directed Destroy up and its upcoming sequel, Glass. “He’s such a honest man — other than being a honest looking out human being, he’s such a honest director. So, optimistically, we can accumulate the chance to originate that together, yeah.”
